  2. Fix citation error

In The Pilbara Infrastructure Pty Ltd v Australian Competition tribunal [2012] HCA 36 there are several incorrect citations at paragraph 14. Douglass v R is [2012] HCA 34, not 36.

  4. Missing decision in Purvis precedent visualisation

I was checking out the precedent visualisation for Purvis v The State of NSW [2003] HCA 62, and noticed the most recent decision from the Qld Court of Appeal in Woodforth v State of Queensland [2017] QCA 100 does not appear therein (https://jade.io/article/531142).

The Woodforth decision is important in that it is the first court of appeal that rejects the application of the Purvis decision when applied to a discrimination provision that differs from that in the DDA. This case will have ripple effects in other Australian discrimination jurisdictions.

It would be good if the visualisation tool includes it.

  5. The link to Interlego AG v Croner Trading Pty Ltd (1992) 39 FCR 348 in IceTV v Nine Network (at least in footnote 41) goes to the wrong case

Same thing happens when you click on Interlego in the search bar results - something to do with the media neutral citations issue?

  7. fix mistake in relation to commencement date

    Hi,
I have been looking at the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012 (Vic) and I believe some of the commencement information of certain sections may be incorrect.

For example it says that s184 commenced on the 1st of January 2012, however I believe it commenced on the 1st of July, 2012.

    Hope this is helpful. Thanks!

  8. In-text searching from partway through a document

It would be very helpful if pressing F3 when scrolled partway through a document would jump to the next search result, beginning from the top of the visible screen. This would allow a much more natural movement through the document when reviewing search hits in a document.

  9. Integrate in-text search with Firefox

Having found a case, Jade hijacks the in-text search function to some extent but, at least in Firefox, it only partially hijacks it. This can lead to the Firefox search jumping in and then neither Jade nor Firefox searches work quite right.

    Some suggestions:
    * Have an option to turn off the Jade "hijacking" of ordinary browser searching within a page
    * Make sure Jade properly "hijacks" F3 and Shift-F3 shortcuts for "next search item" and "previous search item" respectively

Unrelated, but also helpful, would be to allow full looping when moving through search results - ie I'd like to…

  12. bug or citation error

    I was exploring Jade Professional.

I uploaded a brief with a citation to Damorgold Pty Ltd v JAI Products Pty Ltd (2014) 105 IPR 60. The report says the citation is wrong and should be replaced with Lahood v Bank of Western Australia (No 2).

    But the citation is correct

  15. Consider better integration of user-generated content.

I assume that the team at Jade is familiar with CaseText (https://casetext.com/), a free US legal research site. CaseText's integration of user-generated content is quite seamless and user-friendly--perhaps in ways that Jade is not. Might be worth considering.

Hi Alexander, we do integrate user-generated content. We are working to improve the integration in our next UI improvement round happening early in Q3, 2015.

  16. allow alerts to exclude topics. I would like to receive all civil cases but not criminal cases. I can't find a way to do that.

  18. add the Defence Force Discipline Appeals Tribunal to the list of courts that are in your alerts list.

As the DFDAT is effectively a court of appeal which sits with 3 judges from the Federal Court and the State Supreme Courts, it is superior appellate tribunal that would enhance your alerts list.

  19. Legislation has been 'appealed'

When I look up the Supreme Court (General Civil Procedure) Rules 2005 (Vic) it says it has been appealed.

  20. Table of contents failure

The table of contents is a real time saver.

Here is an example of where it fails, though:
    https://jade.barnet.com.au/Jade.html#article=67936

    PFENNIG v THE QUEEN (1995) 182 CLR 461.

Nothing gets listed in the TOC.
