offer an obiter dictum identifier similar to that of your Citator tool.
Similar to that of the Citator tool, it would prove beneficial having a tool that could identifier obiter statements within a case.
30 votesWe are working on precisely this kind of identification. It’s a little harder than CaseTrace (our citator tool), but stay tuned. The first stage is ready and will be deployed in the week of 16 June 2015.

Search terms not working.
Hello, I have had difficulty getting the w/n, w/p and w/s searches to work in both the search bar and in Advanced Search. Jade appears to be treating them like words rather than search terms (""~n is working however)

Create a filter option for "tribunals" in addition to "all courts".
Currently, to search in all tribunals you must select them individually which takes time and is inefficient. It would be nice to have an "all tribunals" option alongside "all courts" and "all legislation".

allow alerts to exclude topics. I would like to receive all civil cases but not criminal cases. I can't find a way to do that.

Integrate in-text search with Firefox
Having found a case, Jade hijacks the in-text search function to some extent but, at least in Firefox, it only partially hijacks it. This can lead to the Firefox search jumping in and then neither Jade nor Firefox searches work quite right.
Some suggestions:
* Have an option to turn off the Jade "hijacking" of ordinary browser searching within a page
* Make sure Jade properly "hijacks" F3 and Shift-F3 shortcuts for "next search item" and "previous search item" respectivelyUnrelated, but also helpful, would be to allow full looping when moving through search results - ie I'd like to…

In-text searching from partway through a document
It would be very helpful if pressing F3 when scrolled partway through a document would jump to the next search result, beginning from the top of the visible screen. This would allow a much more natural movement through the document when reviewing search hits in a document.

provide a detailed search history
Provide a detailed 'search history' so that when I am creating a research note (i.e. a note detailing which terms I have searched) I can simply look back on this history and compile my note.

Fix Bug - Citator for subsections
Bringing up the citations for a section when accessing the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (Cth) (C2019C00158) in the Jade Brower tab omits the option to search by subsection for a number of sections or doesn't include all citations. E.g. section 7 should have subsections available in the citations panel.
If you open the Act in the Citator tab, there are 5357 unmatched sections which expand to numerous subsections, paragraphs etc. These used to be available when opening the citation tab to the right of the legislation in the Jade Browser tab. Is there any way to return these?…

fix a search problem
I searched for Sentencing Act 1991 (Vic). I went to the document. I went to section 110, and clicked the little plus button that shows documents citing s 110. I went to page three of the results. I then clicked "edit this search" and confined the results to only those from courts. On running the search, I got a blank page. I worked out from the URL that this is because it was showing me page 3 of a set of results that did not extend beyond one page.

Edit Search Bug
After editing a search you are returned to the same number page you were previously on. If the new search returns fewer pages than the previous search and you were previously on a page greater than the number of pages for the new search (Eg you were previously on page 6 of 10 and after editing the search there are only 3 pages) there is no way to navigate to the search results (in the example above you are sent to page 6 of 3).
